Figurative Sculptor Eduardo Gomez exhibited at Art Palm Beach from January 24-28 2013.
His piece Danseur Royal, a sculpture portrait of a black ballet dancer received excellent reviews.

Figurative sculptor Eduardo Gomez received two Honorable Mention awards for his work at the A.E Backus Museum Show," Made in America" which opened on October5, 2012.
The two pieces so honored, were "Old Hippie" and "The Musician with the broken nose", two fired clay portraits. Both of these portraits of local subjects are great examples of Eduardo Gomez's "Magic Realism" style. Gomez's figurative work does not try to idealize his subjects but rather attempts to highlight their differences. " I find that my job is to memorialize the uniqueness of my subjects" said Gomez. Both works will be on display at the A.E Backus Museum from October 5 though November 16. The A.E. Backus is located in Fort Pierce, Florida, 500 North Indian River Drive, Fort Pierce Florida, 34950. Figurative Sculptor Eduardo Gomez won Best Sculpture in show at the Invitational Group Art Exhibit "The Naked Truth".
The exhibit took place at the Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery , 605 South Lake Avenue, Lake Worth, Florida, 33460.
The show opened on July 20th, 2012. This sculpture titled "Desiree" along with along with two other of Eduardo's cast Bronze pieces
will be on exhibit at the gallery for the next 4 months.
One of the other two sculptures on exhibit "Frankly... Frank" won a third place in show award at the Martin Arts Council "Go Figure Art Show on October 9, 2009. The third piece is "Reflection". All three pieces are nudes and not only reflect Gomez's love for the human figure, but also his idea that the human figure is more compelling if not idealized.
